Did Mahr say he IS a Nazi or he was a Nazi? I mean he really was a Nazi once- as many people in Germany were. He was a child- but not everyone is so forgiving of a Nazi past: msnbc.msn.com And didn't you have to be a Nazi when you were in the army? I thought membership was compulsory- and that was as an adult. That makes it harder (imo) to compare the two cases. I think Nazis and former Nazis are probably still fair game- insult wise, Innocent young women- not so much. And as you say, a lot of people are really pissed off that the church still shields pedophiles- that really is a "wrong"- I don't the the girls playing basketball had made any equivalent anti-social actions. Seems like a big difference to me.
