(i) BBC and Economist are both as suspect as Stratfor, Washingtonn Post, CNN, Time, NYT, WSJ, and National Review whenever the subject is China

(ii) OTOH, yes, colonialist take on many disguises, and Africa is always ripe

(iii) Of course, a fine line between colonialism, and foreign aid, and foreign direct investment
