Chinu, I both agree and disagree. I've got a bunch of mental red 'Xs' on Hillary's side, but racism is not one.

The press has inserted itself and defined many statements and actions by the Clintons in negative ways. Now the press is doing it to some extent on Obama.

The press and the blogosphere have been determined to insinuate race into the mix and in doing so became race-baiters. So I'm sure plenty of hard feelings will survive unfortunately. It's really kind of tragic.

Think back to the SC statements. The press could have spun that differently...covered for Bill and smoothed over the gaffe. But of course they're going to go the other way with it and get readers stirred up emotionally. And many people will go to their graves believing the Clintons are racists...truly sad.

Truth is always a casualty of any campaign, and it takes alot of effort to ignore the press and stay focused on the big stuff.
