Well, Obama said it best when asked about that email by the media. He said that it's insulting from two perspectives. First in that it purports to label him as something he is not with the expressed purpose of vilifying him to voters. And second, that it vilifies Muslims and perpetuates the belief that Muslims are all terrorists that we all need to be afraid of, instead of recognizing that a fringe group of bitter apples are upsetting the whole apple cart.

So I find that email particularly offensive for the same reasons and I find the people who embrace that email and allow it to affect their judgment as similarly repulsive. I guess I identify with minorities and other labeled people, because I myself am 50% minority and 50% everything else. So I think it is a big joke when we all start to use racial or religious labels to denigrate each other, when all Americans are multi-breeds. A true American is someone with 15 different breeds in them. The more the better. There is no such thing as a pure-bred American. Those that tell you so are just full of sh_t.
