I posted on the basis of what you post here. I am not going to dig it out, but one of your first posts here on this subject showed that you are not as burnt out as you claim to be.

You were talking about how much good the system can do for these kids. My attitude is, barring parents who are complete ogres, the kids are better off where they are than to be ripped out of the home environment and put in a group home.

In this specific case we know the children were well cared for by their stay-at-home moms who spent all their time with them, and taught them Christian morals. Now 416 of them cry themselves to sleep every night, scarred for life against our system, so that the DA can make a name for himself.

13-year-olds forced into marriage with old men and mistreated? Got any indictments to show me? No you haven't. The DA's office is frantically looking for charges to back up this total misuse of force. Oh, they will file some charges like this. We all know they can indict a ham sandwich. They have to for CYA reasons. But no convictions will result.
