Something I do know though, is that the benefits of government are most definitely subject to the law of diminishing return. One thing our Founding Fathers knew is the seductivity of the use of force. I have personally experienced it back the 60's when I was involved with County planning. Being able to tell people what to do is a drug. What we have here is a group of outsiders who moved into a community in Texas and kept to themselves. The people running the county didn't like that, and they didn't like the fact that the men had multiple wives. So they went after them. We have Muslim communities like this in rural areas in this country. And nobody dares to touch them. What goes on? Only Allah knows.
