If this had been a Muslim Center of worship, the media would be in a frenzy attacking the authorities for conducting the raid. No doubt basic bigotry toward Mormon's lies at the heart of support for the raid. We saw it when Romney was running for President. He was the "Mormon" candidate, and asked questions repeatedly designed to put him on the defensive toward these kinds of sects who call themselves Mormons. Yet, Obama can directly support a hate America raving lunatic preacher and listen to his rants weekly, and we shouldn't judge his character based on this voluntary allegiance.

Fourth amendment abuses have been occurring under the guise of "save the children" for decades now. It's out of control. Children are ripped out of homes across America every day, because of a simple phone call. What we should ask ourselves is whether this practice is in keeping with American rights as outlined in the Constitution and envisioned in the Declaration of Independents.

Everyone wants to protect children from abusive situations. Yet, the assumption is abuse only occurs when a child is in the custody of lousy parents. How often do we see government workers or government institutions held accountable for abuse?

Teenage state shelters are rife with abuse and I'll bet rape occurs in one across the country every day. I will also wager more underage pregnancies occur between older men in state half-way houses, then in the that one sect. Many should be shut down. The same thing happens in juvenile detention centers. State workers can often do far more damage than a bunch of supposedly evil Mormons.

Reminds me of the media manipulated out of proportion way people reacting to the Abu Graib prison incident, while right down the road in a state prison rape is occuring literally every day.

The problem with me is I have no faith that our government centers of child intervention work. Especially when called upon to deal with hundreds of families at once.
