That's OK William...........I winged it making the batter just runny enough to coat chicken. I must say it was quite a messy operation when I got to dipping the chicken in the batter and then the panko. The crust was delightfully crispy, and the chicken cooked up nicely, but I'm not sure I used enough Italian seasoning in the panko because we didn't notice that the chicken was that flavorful. In fact we think there is a bit more flavor to the chicken when I use a buttermilk soak. I'm am going to use panko for my buttermilk chicken from now on though as we really loved the crunchyness..
