William D. Gehl, chairman, president and CEO, said, "The primary drivers of our business, interest rates, housing starts and milk prices, were positive in the third quarter enabling a continuation of the generally favorable market conditions for both our business segments to occur. Continued growth of the Company's rough-terrain forklift and skid loader products, lower debt and related interest expense and tight control of operating expenses contributed to the record breaking third quarter profits."
