Europe, especially Germany and the Scandinavian countries heavily subsidize development in solar and wind energy development. You have to be very careful in where you invest. You have to be very strategic in formulating policy. There is a role for the private sector and there is a role for government. There has to be a balance. The problem is, there are too many people who think using slogans and/or rely solely on their glands.
