Last night my wife and I attended a remarkable Passover Seder. It was at the home of some friends who frequently host the event. It is never dull as we all comment on the text of the Seder, sometimes challenging it, sometimes elaborating or sharing events from our reading or experiences since the last time we celebrated Moses and the Jews leaving Eqypt. What made this time special, was the attendance of a Muslim family, and the father relating the parallels in the Koran with the Seder service. We got to ask questions that we never would have in another setting, without fearing we would be insulting or misunderstood. It was really great. Also in attendance were two Christian couples, and so the three families of Abraham celebrated together.
