Ethanol in gasoline is a stupid idea. The heat content (read mpg) is less then gasoline so your mileage goes down and the amount of "ethanol spiked" gas you need to cover your commute goes up. Not withstanding the fact that ethanol from corn takes an incredible amount of energy (in the form of natural gas) in order to cook it. Who came up with this policy ? It would be a lot better to burn natural gas to begin with. It is a heck of a lot cleaner.
