Scientific Atlanta and Motorola does everything from the Satellite to your TV regardless of the wire, and they also do switched video. SFA found the spectrum to put voice on the same wire decades ago. ARRS which bought C-COR also is parts on that path. AT&T isn't the old AT&T. Avaya which is the PBX arm of the old AT&T was spun off years ago as was Lucent.
The new AT&T buys their technology, they don't make it.
They are like Comcast and TWC.

CCUR makes software for fast video streaming out of the server.
And now cutting edge Flash disks with STEC.
Their partner web page has been long for years as they worked out the interfaces. All the while ARRS/C-Cor and Tandberg/n2Broadband specialized in the interface itself without making the server(Tandberg).
