I read that article earlier.

While the article clearly is an attempt to paint US health care as inferior, not one of the points made in it is even slightly suggestive that it is the case.

Skipping health care because of cost? Well, duh. When people are paying for their own health care rather than having the government pay for it, it is not surprising they want to control their health care costs. Who wouldn't?

As to error rates, how many of these people in other countries would even KNOW errors happened? Without a system of specialists, as used here, most Americans wouldn't know, either.

You just can't take this kind of report seriously. You don't know what the agenda was, and you cannot reconcile key differences without knowing specifically how questions were asked, etc. We do know, however, that the US is at the heart of most medical research and drug development.
