Heck, you can post all you want as far as I'm concerned. I don't care about your ideas, so they don't bother me.

Your experience on PFP is far different from what I encountered on the threads I've been banned from. Somebody appealed to have me unbanned from a thread where they felt I'd been treated unfairly (which was true). I ultimately made a post to that thread to invite denizens there to a new thread for book discussion, and received in return a very hostile PM and a banning from the thread moderator.

Simply put, Elroy, your friends are hypocrites. They are not interested in the debate of ideas. They can't handle ideas that don't stroke their own prejudices, and their reactions to them are to block the exchange. Some, like Am Spit, are unhinged.

So don't talk to me about my ability to debate ideas that differ from my own. I'm quite able, and if I choose to I will.

Right now, I'm trying to desist, because it's a big waste of time.
