I also get bitten by that same phenom. My tendency is to bend over backwards to help others and it sometimes comes off as patronizing.................so which is best? Should we worry about appearing patronizing or just plain go out and help someone and to heck with how others perceive us? I just get out there now and help people who are receptive and want help because there is no way I can please everyone.
