First off, if you are a "first time investor" you should be using money that you can "afford" to lose. Also, if you are investing, you should not be worried about every upgrade or downgrade.

Why did you choose SPSN? With thousands of stocks available, why choose a company that's been losing money hand over fist?

Please understand that I'm not trying to insult or cause injury. These are serious questions that you should consider.

If you can't afford to lose, then you should not be investing that much money. Start out smaller and use profits to invest in more speculative issues.

Trying to choose turnaround plays as a starting point for investing is not what I would suggest for a beginner. I would pick stronger, more established companies that are making money, not losing money.

Lastly, consider advice from stock boards with a large dose of skepticism. The people replying behind the keyboard do not know you, your risk tolerance, your financial status and a number of other issues that would be needed to get "good financial advice".

Best of luck with your investments!
