I was writing from memory. In what way was it misleading?

So? The ideology was tied up in different issues.

Hitler wasn't the originator of the idea. Others were. He just used it. Hitler had a fine appreciation of power structures. Of course he would attempt to use it.

Thanks, though. You have strengthened my claim that calling their party a socialist worker's party was a smart political move.
