I bring up sino-soviet split because we allied with weaker party against the stronger one to tie them up on another cold war front. Iran as a nation poses the greater threat and the sunnis as a group are our more natural ally is checking the shiaa arc. Problem is al quaeda who takes the most extreme position against the west and is trying to wipe us off the earth. Very complicated indeed. Iran should charge that US cooperating with sunnis to neuter iran and al queda is complicit. very complcated indeed.
