I went into this week ready to do some daytrading--
two sessions in, and for whatever reason, I just
don't have any interest. Weird. Maybe it is because
the weather is nice today, so I'm getting a dose
of big leaf maple pollen, moving a few things around
in the backyard, and haven't even checked the quotes
today (except to see that the market is down 1%,
which means my stocks are likely down 3%).

So this is a good thing, just don't even look.

Maple pollen is really rough on the eyes, so who
wants to look at a monitor after that anyway.
Close my eyes, soak up a little filtered sunshine,
get some vitamin D, and call it good.

I have three positions that have done poorly over
the past year, they may or may not have made a
double bottom (actually, it is looking increasingly
likely that they have assumed the trend back down
last time I checked). I did a little averaging down,
but I'm still badly in the hole on the one. The
other two, maybe down 5% so far. Dead even for the
year (yesterday's quotes), maybe down a little for
the year after today.

Back into the sunshine, just walk away. If the
quotes don't make you happy, why do it?
