CLR - I thought originally this one was running off the IBD screens, and the resulting volume pushing in. Many of the knife catchers I talk to have had me distracted with financials......resulting in the old "head up the arse" on the Bakken news. Well right here in my notes it says it, but apparently I typoed Bakken with "backend formation." Anyway, this one could be a candidate as it pulls back to it's 20dma. My notes on this one are: CLR - S. Dakota, Oklahoma, Rockies, and Gulf Coast exposure. They have 300k acres in the "backend shale formation" to do horizontal drilling and fracture stimulation. This could be bigger than Alaska. 20% production increase.......17% debt to capital....14% reserve growth....eps .44 up 144%.....and sales of 159m up 140%. contres.com My notes were ascertained from a 2min IBD pitch, so they need to be reconciled. And FWIW the Angel nexus letter writers are hitting my email with Bakken talk now. Another name that was tossed out on the CLR board was BEXP. Don't know anything about it. technical note on CLR. Some may have opted to get long on the 4/17 "hammer." If that is the case they will have tucked their stops in at 38.61. If that gets violated then you'll have a quick trip to the 20dma of 36.86. This is real close to the 38% retracement level from the 3/24 breakout. That number is 37.04. Thoughts? RGRDS - JT actually now that I look at BEXP's chart it is the one Angel is touting in it's letter. Of course you have to pay for the name, but my trusty research monkey just slapped me and said..."that's the same chart." So be advised that one is being pumped this month.
