TEST- Please give me extra credit for being the first paper in.

1) Strawman- doesn't matter where else child abuse is taking place.

2)Yes

3) It is usual to remove all the children from a home in which there is evidence of abuse. However, as I said to MD, I would have restricted it to the particular age range affected by the accusation. The unusual nature of the living arrangements in the compound apparently make the common definition of nuclear family difficult to apply, as MD pointed out.

4) No, but the teacher will be suspected of possibly and potentially being abusive toward others, and will no doubt lose his or her job. Actually, as I think about it-- you often go with the assumption that abuse COULD have occurred to others, and also that it was damaging to other students to observe the abuse, though that wouldn't be physical abuse, just evidence of a very poor teacher.

5) The protest is not about the lifestyle of the adults or the community- it's about the law regarding the rape of minors. It has nothing to do with diversity or tolerance or any other issue.. Another strawman, and an example of his bringing in irrelevant issues.

6) Yes, in certain instances a secular state certainly IS better at determining what is best for a child! When parents are allowing their minor daughters to be raped and impregnated despite the law against it is one example.
Parents are often very bad at parenting.
