Lane3; you can understand why folks might confuse your basic liberal big welfare government with socialism Interesting choice of words. We really don't have a "big" welfare government when compared to the rest of the industrialized world. We do have a huge government but most of that cost gets gobbled up with corporate welfare such as the military complex and farm subsidies. steve
