Correction - Papal Encyclical
Vatican City, Rome, Oct 15 (Reuters) -
In a news release earlier today, it was incorrectly reported that His Holiness Pope John Paul II had issued a new encyclical, "Caesar sic in omnibus". In fact, Vatican sources say that although the text of the encyclical has been written, it is not yet sanctioned for official release.
"It's on my desk, waiting to be signed," said the Holy Father. "As soon as the lawyers get back from their Yom Kippur break, we'll be in business. And there's plenty more where that came from. We're planning to release at least one of these a week for the next year. Big names, too: "Factorius mobilius nihil desperandum", "Yakkus milkus verboten est", "Quid significat Peritus?", these are all gonna be huge winners."
