The Doors? BUT taken from ??? Morrison might have borrowed the phrase "been down so long it looks like up to me" directly from the Furry Lewis song, "Dry Land Blues," A very descriptive/ evocative metaphor too!!! What an irony that Furry Lewis's song is about Dry Land!! :):)
