Great debate mish! Very clear and very plausable.

What I did not catch (as I am drinking wine-lol) is that you combine an increase in money supply with a credit contraction.

I agree with you whole heartedly that there will be a severe credit contraction. That much is crystal clear. And could easily lead to a depression.

But what I think the fed will do, and the rest of the west, is print money. Even if it is clear that it is pushing on a sting, they will continue to print money and that will cause a severe recession/depression and inflation-----stagflation??
