Hi Koan Before I begin let me say with abundance ... you are much smarter than I am ... that said .... lets do something -even better- than print money .... (a) lets tell Mish that we are going to take the Fed Discount rate down to -0- % and that will resolve the problem .... just speculating but in about a nano second (I think) Mish is gonna fire back a 5 letter answser to our solution .... Here is a hint at what I suspect will be his answer: J_PAN ...... now my point is - taking the rate down to -0- percent IS printing money (I think) e.g. the housing nuttiness of the last 5 years .... drove prices to infinity ... but - even - at some point - that won't help as exemplified by Japan - but frankly - I don't know or understand the forces that prevent this from working .... i.e. reflating .... In summary, at some point (and NOT understanding WHY) hello-cop-terring ...... may not help .... either. fwiw - regards, John
