Take your shoes off lately at the airport? Give up liquid as well? Remember those free-speech zones 2 miles from Bush? Fisa wire tapping? The country has gone nuts and it is a very expensive and time-consuming way to go nuts.

The US has gone decidedly down market at least in the popular media. Heck, even our activities on the net are lauded (or derided) as the rise of the amateur. :)

"I also have pondered what can be done internally to stop it. "
