I believe in demand curves .... the demand curve for oil is gonna shift ... and shift and shift and shift yes ... the price point where demand and supply cross will be higher ... but the units of oil each of us use both directly and indirectly is gonna decline .... the debt issue is mutually exclusive .... and I don't see anyway out .... depression? the Fed is out of bullets and we borrowed the money for those (sic) tax rebates .... i.e. there is no fiscal stimulus to offer to the future ... I guess we're gonna find out .... regards, John
