Obama ticked off the rural PA residents with his guns and religion statement............Hillary had nothing to do with that.
I haven't seen any evidence that his guns and religion statement had much of an effect either way. Hillary didn't makie the statement, but she spun it, and has helped to give the Republicans their "portrait" of Obama--he is now the "Stevenson" clone--elitist, brainy, good for nothing, out of touch with the "common" voter, lol. Someone on Charlie Rose last night, Halperin I think it was, said that Hilary is doing McCain a huge favor with her attacks. His people are watching her tactics, seeing what sticks and what doesn't, preparing their focus groups, and will be refining her attacks for the summer and next fall. McCain himself will be "oblivious" to it all. "My friends," he will say, "we must have a higher sort of politics, there is nothing we can't do, no challenge we can't meet, if we work together."
