In an era when 50.x% politics has produced such dysfunctional gridlock and dissatisfaction on a national basis, the Democrats are naturally headed down that same road for their nomination, sending a wounded, half-hearted nominee out to face McCain in an election they should have won going away. Just have to shake your head at this whole circus. The odds of anything being substantially different in Washington twelve months from now have just dropped to almost zero. But hey, that's what the voters are voting for. They will get the government they deserve. Same old, same old.
