I believe public education should be extended to the Community College level. After WWII a person could make a decent living as a high school grad, but that simply isn't true any more. We have a more technical society and we need more education. My office has an employee (messenger) who is a Community College student. In terms of knowledge and comprehension, I'd put my 4th grader up against her.
