Tancredo is correct about the pope, who should've kept quiet about the flood of illegals into the US. Naturally, it's of no concern to a church leader whether a country's sovereignty is being eroded by illegal immigration. It is, however, a sensitive issue for American catholics, the vast majority of whom are Americans first--their religion takes a back seat on this issue.
