Do you? Because McCain sure will continue most of them. I take your point re the promise of new programs that can be implemented by a D pres with a D congress. I appreciate your sensitivity to lost opportunity. But, no, McCain can't continue most of Bush's policies. You give way too much credit to an R president with a D congress. McCain would need congressional support for any new war and to fund this one, he can't maintain the Bush tax cuts without the support of congress, and I don't know what other Bush policies you're afraid to continue. No Child Left Behind, perhaps? Surely you're not afraid of that.
