It was much more fun and emotionally satisfying to get pulled into the excitement of Obama. The press went along, of course.

That is a very patronizing view, Kate. One of Hillary's problems is not really understanding what Obama supporters were looking for in a candidate. Dismissing them as ditzy dreamers is insulting, and part of the reason she fell behind and remains behind in the "who's ahead" categories. It's also an endemic problem for the long-term Beltway creatures who know nothing except their own relative power position.

The attitude that there can be no choice except the inevitable Hillary nomination was another one of her weaknesses.

I am glad you are happy with her success. I will vote for her in November with no great joy or passion if it comes to that. I seriously doubt I will ever like her much. That is not a crime, conspiracy, moral failing or psychological defect on my part.
