Socialism is not fascism.

Something that I've maintained from the beginning. The fact that they have similarities doesn't make them the same thing.

Communism doesn't exist except in name in authoritarian regimes.

Communism in common parlance, refers to a totalitarian socialist system.

Seen big union strength lately?

Weakness doesn't indicate forcible supression.

Also we do have union strength. For example look at the NEA.

Having national law enforcement and intelgence agencies is common, perhaps near universal, in modern countries. They aren't the military. And don't indicate "supremacy of the military".

Corruption is rampant in the US

Exists in the US? Obviously. Rampant in the US? No

Fradulent elections - oh yes after Florida and Ohio

After Florida and Ohio the evidence for fraud being a significant factor in US presidential elections, or in most other elections, is insignificant.

Nationalism went crazy (as did most of the US) after 911.

Patriotism exploded temporarily (but has since back down quite a bit), nationalism isn't the same thing, and isn't an exceptionally large factor in the US today. It is A factor, but it also a factor in most countries both current and historically.
