I withdraw the word "scurrying"....not fair, though there are almost always many lawsuits in a reorganization.

If there is genuine malfeasance in all of this, I hope lawyers carry it to the light of day.

My best estimate is that if the spreadsheets ever came through big time, present shareholders would get nothing at all for the first 100 million or so (but then the debt would be clear)......roughly 12 a share for each hundred million to follow.

Haven't checked, but if VV was successful, either formally or informally, at getting a seat in the negotiations....and they sure were trying for EXACTLY what they needed in that effort....maybe they can sweeten the deal. Hope so. It's already more than I expected but less than shareholders deserve.

As an aside, Nosaj we have discussed Bramson until the cows came home and died of old age. Many obviously think he is an abomination. I thought he had some good and had some bad. Did make a couple disastrous and fateful decisions. Ended up taking better care of creditors than shareholders (to his disadvantage because he was a large shareholder for a long time).

Had one spectacular success on the 121. If they had whipped Kodak it would have been much more spectacular.

iNEXTV was a fiasco from the getgo. Using borrowed money to finance it was a horrendous blunder. (all just my opinion)

The board of directors wasted plane fares....would have been cheaper for them to send their rubber stamps. Only thing I know of that they ever woke up to do was pull the plug on iNEXTV.

The general bubble of close control and paltry accountability at Ampex taught me a lesson. That's usually bad news for any company in the long run.

My impression is Bramson is far from an evil guy though.

Again, Best of Fortune to All. Hope Ampex gives you some great and happy surpise someday.
