You asked which jobs I wanted to cut. Since I don't want to cut any, I was taken aback by your question. The only jobs in question were the jobs that would be lost with implementation of single-payer so I could only conclude that you thought I favored implementation of single-payer and thus was a job cutter.

As to which jobs would be lost, they would be most of what is now the health insurance industry and the medical staffers who interface with them. Those are pretty good jobs. They are overhead jobs, service jobs, but well paying. In bad economic times, jobs are jobs.

I was mistaken about short term, though, in that it would take a while to implement single-payer and we would presumably be out of the recession by then. OTH, a job loss that massive might cause another one. :/
