Your ignorance would be astounding if you weren't so prolific in your demonstrations of it. The electoral college has nothing to do with it. Ours is a representative government, not a democracy, and even if the electoral college didn't exist, that would still be so. Do you know why? Because the founding fathers of the nation feared mob rule at least as much as they disliked the King of England and colonial rule, so they designed a system that would minimize the risk of blithering idiots like you banding together and taking over.
