Nope, that's not obvious to me. I understand that you can create jobs by buying them with government money but that's not a given. As for raising taxes, that's a money maker, at least short term, which is where your interest is.

I did say that Hillary's health care initiative would prevent the creation of jobs - BECAUSE the money would not be there for job creation if it is gobbled up providing health care for everyone.

I recognize that. One of the myriad reasons I'm not keen on the D's health care proposals. Costs jobs and diverts funding from other possible uses. Double dipper money sucker. So I'm afraid that I'm now confused by your confusion. <g>

How do you recover without them?

Jobs are a great approach long term and necessary for a variety or reasons, not just fixing a recession, but not the only tool in the toolkit.
