It is sponsored by the catholic church and both candidates make fun of themselves and perceived stereotypes about themselves. in 2000, Al Gore made fun of his habit for embellishments. it's a joke, self depricating humor and i never thought this would be jumped on but conspiracy nuts continue to amaze me.
