You can count on Hillary to fight for the best interests of her country and she will be effective. I don't expect the intellectual community and the extreme left will approve of her MO Mary, I agree and think you are reading things well with this statement. Years ago, Hillary showed herself when she met with Arafat's wife and spoke of a future Palestinian state. I have no doubt she knows exactly what's gone on and is going on in the ME. But she must talk the tough talk to some extent or all hell would break loose in many circles. Machiavellian, though, is a pretty rough description of it, LOL. How about sly like a fox? :<)
