Lane3:

You proposed BUFFET tax cuts and job creation, as I recall. They require massive spending?

Oh gosh, you are dancing again. I said I favored Buffet TAX INCREASES - not cuts. Here is the exact wording....." I would tax people along the lines BUFFET has urged and invest those monies on infrastructure

Nope, that's not obvious to me.

Seems that any discussion on the economy is rather straightforward that we are talking money.

As for raising taxes, that's a money maker, at least short term, which is where your interest is.

Wrong again. I am interested in balancing the budget. I believe a strong fiscal discipline leads to a strong dollar and a strong America. You can do this by raising taxes - but it is better to do so by decreasing government spending.

jobs are a great approach long term and necessary for a variety or reasons, not just fixing a recession, but not the only tool in the toolkit

An interesting comment. Do you think we can come out of a recession without job creation? How will we do that - take from the rich and give to the poor and unemployed? If you have another thought - tell me.
