You can count on Hillary to fight for the best interests of her country and she will be effective. I don't expect the intellectual community and the extreme left will approve of her MO.

That last sentence is a very cheap shot. But other than that, I have no problem with the first sentence. It's the content of what she wishes to do, it's her vision of foreign policy that's the point. I thought the Kly/Lieberman vote was sort of a one-off, nothing should be made of it.

Now I'm beginning to think it was consistent enough to be an indicator of a more bellicose view of military force as the primary instrument of foreign policy than her husband's. The work his administration did on negotiating with North Korea was absolutely superb. Just hasn't gotten the play it deserves. See Fred Kaplan's book.
