The right wing argument is always to privatize and make for-profit (theirs) whenever possible. We have had 30 years of this claptrap which has resulted in a $9 trillion debt and the decline of the American empire. The basic fallacy is that human beings are freedom-loving individualists who flourish wherever there are no boundaries. In reality, human beings are sheeple. Very few humans are true individualists and they are usually treated badly by the sheeple population. What is the point of decreasing government as a percentage of the economy? To what percentage? To what purpose?
