David, Rice told Carter that she doesn't think it's a good idea to meet with Hamas. Of course Carter disagrees.

Now Carter is claiming that (a) Rice never told him NOT to go, and (b) Rice is the one being untruthful. Untruthful about what? The clear hint that Rice gave to Carter?

I'll say it again: Everything about Carter these days reflects hubris.
