That is completely wrong. Republicans want to privatize everything they can. They would privatize government and run it as an aristocracy as long as they were the aristocrats. Republicans have privatized war, they have privatized agencies of the government and they have tried to privatize SS. They will try and kill Medicare before they privatize the funds for their own bank accounts. Anyone who does not understand this is clearly not on this particular plane of existence.
