I also learned that being open-minded is over-rated. It means that you don't care much about anything that has ever happened to you or will happen to you. That's way too depressing to read so early in the morning. When we quit reevaluating our stances, lose our curiosity, eschew learning, we ossify. Dead man walking. I find that sad, at best.
