But buing a Prius or any hybrid to save gas does not sound frivolous to me. The context was GW. Seems to me that buying a Prius to do one's part to counter GW is frivolous, narcissistic, and a bit too full of oneself. If, OTOH, you want to save on gas bills or conserve resources or counter smog, then it's a fine idea. How about a Tata?
