Fascism isn't even an economic system.

Fascism is associated with commanding the economy, and insisting actors in it get behind the government's plans, without actually owning the industries (at least not for the most part).

Now they are most known for intense nationalism, but lots of other types of people are nationalist. Nationalism is just one aspect of fascism.

I would not call Obama or Hillary (or McCain for that matter) fascist, but I can see why Hugh calls their health care plans fascist.

Should they expand such new controls to other areas, and also push them with nationalist rhetoric and thuggish enforcement, than I would call them fascists.
